Open Level
This class is a mixed level class, geared towards everyone. Teacher's are prepared to give more advanced practitioners a challenge and also aid beginners in finding their way. This class has an incredible energy, beginners will be inspired by deeper practices and advanced yogis will remember their foundations in a deep and meaningful way. This class is perfect to do a few times a week, to really see a transformation....

Level - I
In this class students will be introduced to a wide range of fundamental poses. They will also learn how breathing techniques and the principles of alignment can be applied to build stamina, openness and ease in movement. No experience necessary.

Level - I / II
In Level I/II students will build on the foundation of the Anusara Principles learned in Level I. After learning the main principles, students will learn how to apply them in more advanced poses such as Full Backbend and Inversions like Handstand and Headstand. If you are ready to explore more, Level I/II is for you.

Level - II
For the advancing student. To be ready for this class, students are required to have the alignment principles fully integrated into their practice. Ability to do handstands and full backbends unassisted and with ease and knowledge of Ujjayi breath is assumed. A full range of more advanced postures from the Anusara Syllabus (Level II) will be introduced.

Level - III
For the advanced student. To be ready for this class, students are required to have the alignment principles fully integrated into their practice. Ability to do handstands and full backbends unassisted and with ease and knowledge of Ujjayi breath is assumed. A full range of more advanced postures from the Anusara Syllabus (Level III) will be introduced.

Gentle Yoga
For the beginner who has no experience with yoga. We go over all the new concepts and movements with methodical instruction to give new students an enjoyable experience while getting a great foundation in yoga.

Beginner’s Series
New to Yoga? New to Anusara Yoga? Need More Information? This is the class for you... In this 8 week series, Hillary & John will lead you through the basics of Anusara Yoga. Giving you a rich and stable foundation to build upon. This class will clarify questions for all who seek a deeper understanding of Anusara Yoga and its Universal Principles of Alignment. Join now and reserve your space in this new class! This class is different than a regular class, it is designed as a workshop series & requires a different class card than your normal card. It is important to try and come consistently for 8 weeks in a row. Enrollment is ongoing, so join whenever you would like, within 8 weeks, you will learn the 5 major principles of Anusara and be ready to deepen your understanding of Yoga.

Pre-Natal - starts 7/12/2010, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, 6 weeks only!
What better time to either begin yoga or to deepen your understanding of yoga then when you are pregnant. As your attention tunes inward to the extraordinary changes taking place very quickly, yoga will open your awareness further to the constant comforting presence of your breath. Relax and relieve the physical discomforts that arise during pregnancy, while deepening your connection to the baby growing inside of you. Prepare your body with specific poses for the intensity of the birthing process, and learn what positions to do to prevent discomfort. Encouraging lightness and clarity in the mind, permission to be gentle with yourself, as well as accessing and strengthening your innate power, yoga will bring you and your baby simple joy, relaxation, comfort, and strength.

Abundance Practice (accompanied by live music) - Once a Month! Next Class: August 13, 2010
Our Friday night practice is a true heart-opening experience. As Hillary says, “This is Happy Hour!”.In this open level class, Hillary practices with us and leds us through a seamless sequence of asana. This class creates such an amazing atmosphere to really practice at your level while feeling supported by the Kula. We laugh, we move, we meditate, we cultivate…. we delight in the Yoga. I am so excited that this class has taken off, and not only are we creating a beautiful Yogi Home but also a place for musicians and their art-form. I think  my favorite part is the meditation…..when the music stops, the silence is so powerful, so thick, you can feel it support and surround you….. But don’t take my word for it, come see for yourself….

Tween Yoga (ages 7-13) - will start up again in September
This is such a brilliant age! Confidence and individuality is being clearly defined. In Yoga class, we learn our own personal strengths and weaknesses, and more importantly, how to learn and deal with our troubles. Tweens today have more on their plates then ever before from sports to academics. This class gives them a place to chill out and focus on themselves. Their patience increases, they feel more ease in their growing bodies, and they learn to work with one another in a supportive way. This class is also a time to talk about their feelings and emotions of what they experience day to day. Yoga is an amazing compliment to any sport as it allows for more flexibility and concentration. We will focus on poses that encourage strength, alignment, and clarity of action. Sign your tween up today and see the difference for yourself.

Teen Yoga (ages 14-17) - will start up again in September
Yoga is an incredible stress buster, something every teen needs! We will talk about everything in this class, from pressures caused by school academics, family, friends & more. Through Yoga we will learn how to reduce test anxiety & held fears. We will also strengthen and stretch, creating more ease in growing and hormonal bodies. Journaling and reading will help us to get things out! This class will build you up to face this new school year with pride & self-confidence!

Mommy and Me (Babies 6 weeks - 16 months)
Come and deepen your bond to yourself and your baby. Strengthen your body and soul after giving birth, whether it's been 6 weeks or 16 months. Nourish yourself being with other moms and babies while rejoicing in the beauty of sharing yoga with your little ones. This class is built around YOU! Giving you a place to do Yoga for yourself and have your child with you. We will include some massage and yoga for babies to leave them shining and radiant too. Have fun through an atmosphere of organized chaos, that will help you and your precious babe to reduce stress, feel more connected and experience the joy of motherhood. (Dads are welcome too!)

Yoga for Fertility - start date TBA
Yoga helps to reduce stress and anxiety.  Through the breath, the body relaxes the mind and we calm our nervous system.  Often when we are trying to conceive we become more stressed and we need a place to seek comfort, relaxation and to empower ourselves.  Our YOGA FOR FERTILITY is a gentle effective program to help you on this journey and to help you with any emotion and physical stress you may encounter.  We will help you to nourish your reproductive organs, calm your nervous system, relax your mind and help you to release any accumulated stress. We will lower our stress hormones like Cortisol, which can impede our reproductive functions.  As women we will also gather to support each other and devote some time to share in some of the ups and downs that are inevitable during this time.  We learn to be more positive and to listen to ourselves. Yoga for Fertility helps us to listen to our body's natural rhythm as we bring a deep sense of peace and connection and align ourselves with our intentions. Through our breathing, yoga poses and relaxation we will restore and balance our minds and brains, detox our bodies, and increase our vital life force.
